OSSO targets municipal and industrial growth with £3m water treatment fleet investment

OSSO has invested a further £3 million in its water treatment fleet as it targets growth across construction, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment markets.

The investment builds on strong growth for OSSO’s water treatment offering, with demand for its WTS20 system and broader capability helping double construction sector revenue in FY25. More than 30 WTS20 units are now deployed across construction and infrastructure projects.

Growth has continued into 2026, with OSSO securing more than £3.5 million in water treatment contracts in Q1. As part of its latest fleet expansion, OSSO has introduced new Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor units (MBBRs), and Dissolved Air Flotation systems (DAFs), alongside further investment in additional WTS20 units and supporting water treatment equipment.

The addition of MBBRs and DAFs strengthens OSSO’s ability to provide more complete water treatment solutions by combining biological treatment with solids separation for sites facing higher contaminant loads, tighter discharge consents, seasonal changes in effluent, or the need for temporary and supplementary treatment capacity. MBBRs provide biological treatment capacity by supporting the growth of bacteria that break down contaminants in wastewater, while DAF systems use flotation-based separation to remove suspended solids, oils, greases and excess biological material.

OSSO has expanded its water treatment team with two new hires to support rising demand, adding business development and engineering resource to support regional project delivery, customer engagement and technical input during system planning and deployment.
